S eat belts are the bastion of safety in a car but when you’re little, they can do harm if they’re not positioned correctly. Enter the booster seat! Not the energy management seat you’re used to with the infant and convertible seats, the booster is all about positioning! The purpose of a booster is to simply raise the child up off the seat so that the seatbelt goes over their lap and across their chest in the correct places, so in case of a short stop, the belt doesn’t inadvertently hurt the child.
