If you give us your basic info, we can set the registry up with whatever items you want to add, then give you the links so you can change, add or delete as you wish. Friends & family can shop online, call in, or come in store. As for delivery, you can also decide how you want to receive the gifts. What to expect when you’re expecting (and need to create a baby registry!) W e know , it ’ s a new world when you find out you’re pregnant. Things shift from nightclubs to nighttime feedings practically overnight. Yes, there are so many new things you’ve got to know and buy, but fear not! It doesn’t need to be overwhelming. The first step: find a book or a blog that reflects your area (we like Well Rounded for NYC moms). Then join a group of expecting parents who you can dish with (in our area HRP Mamas is a great one). Once you get some comfort with your new world, stop in a local baby store and gather some intel from those of us who live and breathe this daily! There’s nothing we like better than to talk down an overwhelmed parent. We spend our days thinking about the needs of city parents (and how they differ from other parents out there) and reviewing products as to how they address our unique city needs. How does the stroller stand up on the city streets? Where is that crib made and of what sorts of materials are used? What sort of values does a company hold and how is their customer service? All of these things help inform us, and as such, we can inform you. Once you’re ready, it’s easy. Either pop on into the store or make an appointment so we can guarantee some one on one time. Then we’ll walk you through a high level of the different categories (strollers, car seats, nursery furniture) or deep dive into a category and compare and contrast different models so you can really understand the differences and weigh what matters most to you. Once you’ve made some decisions, we write down your registry list and then add it online. Change your mind on anything? No problem. We then give you the links and you can change your password and add and delete items as you wish. And we’re always on hand to give our insight into any product or category you come across on your journey.
